The idea is to get a couple of guys together, and race in a team format, and represent a "shop". I know some "shops" will have more "players" than others but we can figure out something for that. This is for fun, no money needs to be bet, and honestly, I don't expect much money to change hands. Of course, If someone wants to get in on this by themselves, they are welcome, then they are a "shop" of one. Open call outs will happen all year, this is more of an "event" I would love to see other makes and imports in it as well. As far as who runs who, either setup grudge runs, or we could try something like MOMs style and have qualifying runs, and then one runs somebody else in (for example) the 11 second zone. I did not use bracket because I would like to see this as heads up, street style, not just another bracket race. So, as this idea is coming together, show up at the track with a couple of buddies ="shop" setup matchups, either "I wanna run them" or run whoever in a "zone" Race and win points for your "shop" or money for your pocket HAVE FUN at the end, hand out trophies to the winning "shops" in the different zones and other categories and share some beers and laughs. so far we have suggested, New Era 2 Fast Garage PMP Street tuned motorsports Innovative Choko's "shop" Turbo's and Chucks "shop" New York F-body "shop" keep the ideas coming, I think this could be cool to get more people interested to come out and race, and get different groups together whether they are friends or rivals.
