| So I don't ruin my new auto meter guages how would I go about wiring them the correct way to the fuse box? |

You can always to an "Add a Fuse" since the amps should be low. They sell them at pretty much any auto parts place. Simply unplug a fuse with sufficient amp ratings and pop in the new holder. IT still gives you the old fuse but now a new one as well with an output. It is semi-rigged but works.
You can always just go into the fuse panel if you have an open slot and wire something up. I assume however that you want ACC power and not constant so make sure you are plugging into the right type of power source.
When you say safety behind the fuse box I assume you just want an ACC fused line. You could do the same thing with a relay straight off the battery. The benefit to that one is you could run an ACC source to a new fuse box (you can get them cheap anwyere) so you could add more later if needed with varying amps.
The easiest way to hook those up would to just tap an ACC wire that exists either for the radio or a cig ligher (if it is ACC not constant). That way it is still fused but just fused along with something else. It looks like they recomment around a 1 amp fast burn fuse to protect them. I think you could just do that off the tap although I've never tried it. They sell that stuff at auto places and radio shack etc.
I've recently been thinking about pulling in a secondary aux power box to wire up stuff since I've added the N20 wiring, radio stuff, etc. and don't want to keep hitting the same ACC +5v lines. That way I could run a 10 AMP fused line to the center console area and then fuse off from there and keep the wires cleaner. I'm only sending power to relays so I can get away with most of it but its pushing it. |

| I would get a separate fuse block..I like the ones used for lighting in conversion vans.Relay, wires and plastic shielding. |
